Big fleets hate juggling a hardware vendor for new PCs and a separate recycler for the old ones. An IT refresh done right is one project: deliver the new fleet, collect the retired gear, wipe every drive with certificates, and leave one clear report. That is how GreenByte works across Belgium and France.
What is an IT refresh (and what it is not)
An IT refresh replaces a working park of business computers with newer ones. The part most vendors skip: the old machines still hold company data, residual value, and GDPR risk until someone takes them out properly.
It is not only buying new hardware. It is not dumping old laptops in a cupboard until next year. A proper refresh closes both ends of the cycle in one plan.
Why one partner beats two vendors
Two vendors means two calendars, two inventories, two places where serial numbers go missing. One partner means the team that rolls in the new ThinkPads is the same team that seals the old ones.
For IT managers, that is fewer meetings. For sysadmins, less weekend chaos. For security and the DPO, one chain of custody and one auditor pack.
How GreenByte runs a refresh visit
We plan counts, models and sites with you. On the day: deliver new machines, collect retired PCs and phones, register devices, and start certified wipe or physical destruction where risk requires it.
You receive an intake list, certificates per data carrier, and a final report. When the market allows, residual value on reusable units comes back as credit. Rent can bridge the weeks before new stock lands, but we never lead with rent.
Who this is for in Belgium and France
Companies from roughly 50 seats up to multi-site fleets that refresh every three to five years. Flanders, Brussels, Wallonia, and sites just over the border in France. Same process, same documents, same phone hours: Monday to Saturday, 07:00–20:00.
If you only need take-out without buying new machines, that is still our ITAD service. Refresh is the lead offer when you want both.
How to start without a perfect inventory
Send an approximate count of PCs, phones, and sites, plus a timing window. GreenByte returns a free quote within one business day with three clear scenarios when useful: credit, mix, or destroy-all.
Frequently asked questions
Can GreenByte deliver new computers and take the old ones the same day?
Yes. That is our IT refresh service in Belgium and France: new fleet in, retired fleet out, certified wipe and certificates in one project.
Do you also take phones during a refresh?
Yes. Always ask for phones, tablets and leftover drives. Same wipe rules and same report.
What if we already ordered new PCs elsewhere?
We still run ITAD take-out: secure pickup, certified destruction, residual credit when the market allows. You can keep your hardware supplier and still use GreenByte for the old park.
